Welcome to our Blog (Tall Girls and Ladies from around the world)

This blog is designed with all Tall Girls/Ladies (TV/TS & Transgender Girls) in mind. I am here to help you all solve the problem of shopping for clothes, it may have taken me till I am in my 40’s but finally after lots of painstaking research I have found suppliers who are more than willing to help us in our battle to look GREAT!
Let me introduce myself, my name is Tina I live near Blackpool in the North West of the U.K. I am 6’0” tall and have a 36” leg length (inside seam).
As I am sure a lot of you will know that are as tall if not taller than me, it isn’t the easiest job in the world to pop out to our local High Street shops or look through mail order catalogues, or even shopping on the internet to buy clothes of any description. In fact it can be an absolute headache at times.
I have found a few other blogs that I am following which may also bo of use to you which are:

Problems with general clothes available in the High Street!

Firstly the most obvious problem that we tall Girls/Ladies have is the leg length. If we need 34” or longer then we will struggle. Some High Street shops now have a tall department (mind you I think DEPARTMENT makes it sound rather large when in fact it is normally rather a small area) it has such a limited choice, maybe one or two styles of trousers normally in Black or Grey (boring!) but what most people, retailers included don’t think of is that ALL our measurements and proportions are different to shorter people. Regular size clothes will have:
1. The waist too high so we either tie belts round our ribs or have to move the belts (if it just has a seam for the waist area then of course it just sits in the wrong position.
2. The distance between our waist and boobs is also different so if the top half of any item of clothing is designed to have much more of a tailored fit then all the seams, tucks and darts are in the wrong place.
3. The actual upper body lengths of most clothes are too short for us.
4. Finally we get to the sleeve lengths; well enough said they are just as bad as leg lengths.
This portrays such an image in my head and probably yours as well of someone standing there in a suit for instance:
The trousers length 1”if not a lot more above the ankle, a nice smart tailored blouse with the waist around the ribs, the darts and tucks for the boobs somewhere above the boob line and then the jacket that is too short in the body with sleeves half way up your arms.
“Looks and feels like someone put your clothes on the boil wash while you weren’t looking”.
